"Milky Way" - Early in the morning on a beautifully clear moonless August night, the brightest part of the Milky Way sets over Mt. Rainier. Taken from the north side near the Sunrise Lodge, the handle of Sagittarius' "teapot" is just visible pointed downward toward Little Tahoma peak and the Great Rift is clearly visible, where clouds of dark interstellar gas appear to split the Milky Way in two.
